• What is Fridgeful?

Hi, I'm Ryan, a local chef in the North Austin area. After years of cooking in restaurants and high-end resorts and earning my Culinary Arts degree, I’ve now decided to start Fridgeful, a one-man operation offering a personalized meal prep service for locals. My goal is to provide a personal chef experience tailored to your specific needs, allowing you to support a local chef while enjoying meals made just for you.

• How long do the meals last?

  I recommend consuming all meals by the fifth day after the preparation date to ensure optimal freshness. However, meals will remain good for up to seven days after the preparation date.

• Can I freeze the meals?

  Some meals are more “freezer-friendly” than others, meaning they’ll freeze and reheat well without sacrificing much in quality. However, other dishes are best enjoyed fresh and aren’t ideal for freezing, similar to how you wouldn’t freeze a restaurant meal to maintain its taste and texture. Please get in touch with me for information on whether the meal you're interested in is freezer-friendly.

• What Cooking Oils are used?

• I primarily use avocado oil for its versatility and numerous health benefits compared to other cooking oils. Avocado oil is great for high-heat cooking and adds a subtle, rich flavor to my meals. If you have an allergy to avocado oil, please let me know in the contact form, and we will gladly accommodate your needs with an alternative oil

  Can I get a custom meal?

  If you're looking for something not on my weekly menu head over to Suggest a Meal, each week 1-2 meals from the suggestions will be picked and represented on next week's menu!

• How long in advance does an order need to be placed?

  Orders for each week need to be paid for by Sunday night. They will be delivered on Wednesday. The delivery time frame will be provided the day before delivery. (note: someone must be home to receive and refrigerate the meals upon arrival)

• What if I’m not home during the delivery window?

  I recommend that someone is available to receive the delivery. If that’s not possible, please let me know in advance, and I will work with you to find a convenient time when you’ll be home.

• How much does each meal cost?

• Each meal may vary slightly but typically costs around $22-$27 per meal, with a $100 minimum per order.

• Can I Cancel an Order?

• If you need to cancel an order, please get in touch with me first. A refund will be issued for cancellations if made before Monday.

• How much is one meal serving-wise?

  Each meal is generously portioned same as you would expect from a nice restaurant.

• How do the meals come?

  All meals come fully prepared in microwave-safe containers, with simple instructions on how to enjoy every bite!

• What payment methods do you accept?

  After you submit your order form, an invoice will be sent to you via text or email. I accept all major credit cards and online payment options through my Invoice system.
